• Name: The Triple Spirals of Life
  • Caption: This is the last photograph of my August 2008 exhibition. I took it in September 2007 at Newgrange, Ireland’s most famous megalithic monument, built around 3200 BC and thought to be the most ancient Solar Observatory. This tri-spiral design from the entrance stone is probably the most famous Irish Megalithic symbol. It is often referred to as a Celtic design, but it was carved at least 2500 years before the Celts reached Ireland. It is up to everyone’s imagination what it can represent. Can it symbolize galaxies?
