Pleasant September
Rainfall amounted to 25.8 mm (1.02 inches), that is, about one third of the monthly average.
The number of hours of sunshine was 118.3, that is, almost 15% more than average.
The mean monthly temperature was 13.7 degrees Celsius (56.6 degrees Fahrenheit), which is about one degree Celsius above average. There were four nights with grass frost.
These data refer to observations at Armagh Observatory, which has been recording the weather at Armagh since 1795.
