Subject: Lidl Binocs, Lectures, ISS
Hi All,
1. Peter Millar very smartly pointed out that the LIDL leaflet photo of the
10x50 Bresser binocs is in fact a mirror image, which is why it appeared like
10 x 20! Thanks, Peter. Check out their UK website www.lidl.co.uk
for a much fuller description of these binocs. They're good value
here at £13.99; disgustingly good value in the UK mainland for £9.99!!! I'll
try to give a quick report on them asap.
2. As well as the IAA lecture in Stranmillis, Belfast, on Wednesday, by John
Flannery of SDAS, they also feature in another event, next night:
3. Deirdre Kellegher will give a lecture to the SDAS on Thursday 1 December,
at 8 p.m., in Gonzaga College, on the Cassini Mission, with particular
reference to mysterious moon Enceladus, and all the latest results from Cassini.
4. The ISS will commence another series of morning passes on 1 December.
