Subject: Congrats to Tom Mason, & Armagh Planetarium
Hi all,
I'm sure you'll all join me in sending hearty congratulations to Dr Tom
Mason, MBE, Director of Armagh Planetarium, on his election as President of the
BAP, as per details below from Julie Thompson:
"At the annual British Association of Planetaria (BAP) conference held at the
Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester, Dr Tom Mason was elected to the
office of President and International Planetarium Society representative for
BAP.
I am also happy to tell you that Armagh Planetarium was chosen to host the
next conference in May 2006. This will give Armagh an opportunity to
showcase its new Space Theatre and site facilities to other planetarians throughout
the UK.

Well done to Tom, and to all at Armagh, for this success and honour. It will
be great when they get all the renovation & upgrade work done, and can re-open
to the public.
Clear Skies,
Terry Moseley
