Hi all,
1. Sorry, I omitted to mention one more lecture in my last email:
The redoubtable John Flannery, well known to amateur astronomers throughout
Ireland, will be giving a lecture to the EAAS, Ballyrobert Primary School, Co
Antrim, on Monday evening, 6 December, at 8 p.m., entitled "From the Blue Sky
to the Zodiacal Light" .
John's lectures are always worth hearing, so try to get along!
2. TV:
A. Monday 6 December: 12.10-12.50am BBC1 TV, The Sky at Night - The world's
largest telescope, the VLT in Chile and what it does.
Repeated on BBC4 TV, 8.30-9.30pm.
