Subject: Carnfunnock Report, AGM, Change of address.
Hi all,
Well, we had a fairly good night at Carnfunnock on Saturday, with the usual
entertaining Planetarium shows from Mark McCulney, and the 'Near-Space' &
'weightless flights' by Derek Heatly.
And the sky cleared enough to give hazy views of Venus, the Moon, Jupiter &
Saturn. So, a partial success on the viewing side, and OK on the other fronts.
We'll be back there at 8.0 p.m. on 4 May for the rising Totally Eclipsed
Moon!
The IAA AGM will be on Wed 28 April, at 7.30 p.m., at Stranmillis College,
Belfast, lecture room 5, as usual. After the business, we'll have George
Brannan's amazing 'Highlights of the Year' video! And free light refeshments.
Visitors welcome, but only members can partake in the official business.
Clear Skies,
Terry Moseley
