Hi all,

It's getting busy!

1. IAA Telescope Event, The Argory, near Moy, Co Tyrone, Sat, 1-5.

2. IAA Mars Observing / Planetarium etc evening, WWT, Castle Espie, Comber,
Sat, 8 to late.

3. As above, Sunday evening, 8 - late.
Can anyone give a lift to a lady from Comber to WWT on Sat evening? - If so,
let me know.

4. RIA Lecture "Measuring The Expansion Of The Universe", by Prof Wendy
Freedman, RIA, Dawson St Dublin, 6.30 Monday. Free, but apply for ticket to RIA. <
d.harte@ria.ie>

5. RIA Lecture, Prof Wendy Freedman "The Runaway Universe", 6.30, QUB,
Belfast: Free but apply for ticket or a reservation to QUB (Reception first at 5.30)

6. ASGI Autumn meeting, Maynooth Univ College, Friday 19th, 10.30 - about
5-ish. Professional Level meeting. IAA members are welcome to attend, but you
need at least 1st year Uni Maths & Physics to appreciate it. (Even some of the
titles of the talks defeat me!)

7. First IAA meeting of new season, 24 Sept, 7.30, Stranmillis College,
Belfast: J. Kelly Beatty, Executive Editor, Sky & Telescope "A Stone's Throw :
Meteorite Transport Between Planets". Admission free, all welcome.

8. Whirlpool Star Party, Birr, Co Offaly, 26-28 Sep. Accommodation in the
area is already 99% booked out, so I attach a list of all known accommodation
within about 15 miles radius of Birr. I have done it in RTF format, which should
be virus-free. If you are still concerned, I can send a copy to you in plain
email text.

Clear Skies,

Terry Moseley
