Subject: SOLAR DAY, STARDUST

Hi all,

Just a reminder about the Irish Astronomical Association's 'Solar Day' at
Carnfunnock Country Park, Coast Road, Larne, from 2pm to about 5-ish.
We'll have a selection of telescopes & filters, including a Coronado, so
you can see the Sun through Baader Astro-Solar, Thousand Oaks Optical, by
projection & in H-Alpha.
There is also an amazing collection of Sundials in the Park, and we'll have
an exhibition & talks, so there will be something for everyone even if it's
cloudy. Normal admission charges apply, except for IAA members bringing
telescopes etc.

STARDUST is now at the printers, which have re-opened after the July
Holidays, but TWO of their machines were u/s today, so it won't be ready until
tomorrow (Friday) morning. The envelopes are already stamped & addressed, so all
being well it will be posted tomorrow.

Clear Skies,

Terry Moseley
