Subject: Lecture, NEAT on SOHO,

Hi all,

 The next Irish Astronomical Association Meeting will be a double-header with 
members William Marshall (assisted by Barry Loane) talking on "From Here to 
There and Back" and Adam Laird will speak on "Spectroscopy - What's It All 
About?". Wednesday 19 February, 7.30 p.m., Lecture Room 5, Stranmillis 
College,
Belfast. Admission free, and all are welcome.

Comet  NEAT is now a spectacular object on the LASCO C3 images from SOHO: try

Incidentally, the Sun was almost spotless today - the first time I have seen 
it as 'clear' for about 6 years
