Subject: Lecture Change

Hi all,

The next IAA lecture on Wednesday 30 October will be by Professor Mark
Bailey, Director of Armagh Observatory, who has swapped dates with Prof Tom
Ray of DIAS. Tom was unable to give his talk on that date, so many thanks to
Mark for agreeing to swap. Mark's talk will be entitled "The Leonid Meteor
Showers: Fine Structure and Prospects for 2002". It's at 7.30 p.m., Lecture
Room 5, Stranmillis College, Belfast. Admission is free, and all are welcome.

This year's Leonid shower in November is forecast to be the last chance in
most of our lifetimes to see a 'meteor storm' so come along and hear an
expert's analysis and predictions!

See you there...

Terry
