• The Astronomical Science Group of Ireland (ASGI) will host the National Astronomy Meeting for 2003 with the support of the Particle Physics and Astronomy Research Council (PPARC) and the Royal Astronomical Society (RAS). The meeting will run from Monday 7th to Friday 11th April 2003 and will include the following:
  • an RAS Ordinary Meeting,
  • the UK Solar Physics Meeting,
  • the spring ASGI meeting,
  • scientific sessions,
  • poster presentations,
  • advertising and exhibitor stands,
  • media briefings,
  • and a public lecture by Steven Beckwith, director of the Space Telescope Science Institute.
