Dates to Remember and Selection Procedure

The Armagh Observatory is fortunate in attracting strong candidates for specific vacancies. Applications will be acknowledged, and selection will take place as soon as practicable after the closing date for the receipt of applications.

Candidates will be short-listed in accordance with the essential and desirable criteria described in the Job Information for the post as evidenced by the candidate's application form and/or references provided. Candidates must meet all Essential Criteria in order to be considered for the post. A maximum of 6 of those candidates meeting the Essential Criteria and achieving the highest total box mark for the Essential and Desirable Criteria will be interviewed.

In making the appointment we will adhere to the timetable set out below, unless you are subsequently notified otherwise.
